Hey Christ’s Church,

Recently, I watched a webinar hosted by George Barna titled “How Teens Around the World Relate to Jesus." In that hour and a half, I learned something both exciting and urgent: teens ages 12–17 are more interested in spirituality than the last five generations. A spiritual awakening is happening in America!

But here’s the challenge: spirituality doesn’t always mean Christianity. Many teens are searching—but not necessarily for Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

That’s why now is the time to MOVE.

We must invest in the next generation and help them see that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. They are open—let’s point them to the truth.

Last weekend, I shared that we’re launching a Move Challenge this summer. We’re sending 30 students and 10 adult leaders to a weeklong experience called CIY MOVE (Christ in Youth). This gathering is a game-changer—students are challenged to deepen their faith, make lasting commitments to Christ, and even begin to sense a call to ministry.

When I was a student, CIY MOVE played a key role in shaping my walk with Jesus. I want that same life-changing experience for every student at Christ’s Church.

Here’s the reality: for many families, the cost is a barrier.

Total cost per student: $424

Total cost for the group: $16,960

We don’t want any student to miss out because of finances.

So here’s how we can help—together.

This May is MOVE May at Christ’s Church! We’re asking 340 families to purchase one or more CIY Shares throughout the month. Each share is $50, and when you purchase one, you’ll receive a prayer card to put on your fridge as a daily reminder to lift up our students.

Let’s pray that this summer becomes a turning point—a season when many of our students make lifelong decisions to follow Jesus.

I’m incredibly passionate about our students finding and following Jesus—and I know you are too.
