Students are introduced to a new letter each week
and are taught to recognize and form uppercase and lowercase letters.
Counting, as well as, number, shape and color recognition are the
math skills covered in this class.
Math concepts such as patterning and sequencing are also included
each month. Through the use
of monthly themes, social studies and science are introduced.
Fine-motor development and gross-motor development are integrated into
the daily routine. Each week a new Bible character is introduced
that correlates to the letter of the week.
Bible is taught daily to lead students to an understanding of
God, Jesus and the Bible. Problem
solving, conflict-resolution and a general respect for each other are
some of the skills practiced to achieve social integration.
Students must be 4 by September 1st.
This class is designed for younger 4-year-olds. Students
must be 4 by December 1st. Students are introduced to
uppercase letters and will work on recognizing and forming these
letters. Recognition of
colors, shapes and numbers are covered daily as well as other math
concepts. Fine-motor development and gross-motor development are
integrated into the daily routine. Social studies and science are
both introduced through monthly themes such as farm, five-senses and
holidays. Each day, Bible
lessons focus on Biblical accounts that lead students to an
understanding of God, Jesus and the Bible.
Proper listening skills, problem-solving and other appropriate
socialization skills are taught and practiced each day.
Students are introduced to colors, shapes, letters and numbers. Name recognition, language development and development of fine-motor and gross-motor skills are practiced daily. Monthly themes allow for the introduction of science and social studies. The development of appropriate social and emotional skills are taught and encouraged on a regular basis. Students come to know Bible stories during the daily Bible lesson which includes role-playing and other means that encourage active learning. Students must be 3 by September 1st. Friday a.m.

allows students to learn appropriate social and emotional skills.
Although the majority of each session revolves around play,
students are introduced to colors, shapes, letters and numbers.
Name recognition, language development and the development of fine-motor
and gross-motor skills are also practiced. Bible lessons focus on
Biblical accounts and understanding that God loves each child and made
each one special. Students must be 3 by December 1st
and must be completely toilet-trained

Discovery
Garden exists to glorify God by providing a nurturing Christian
environment that will lead children to discover Jesus, God’s love, and
the wonderful world God has created.
Purpose
Discovery
Garden will provide a caring Christian environment that will meet the
social and academic needs of each individual child through example and
instruction.
Discovery Garden will provide Christian education and
developmentally appropriate activities for three to five year olds that
will foster their creative, spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and
